Story
During the American Civil War, Colonel Robert Gould Shaw takes command of an experimental military unit composed entirely of Black volunteers from the North. As the regiment prepares for combat, Shaw navigates the complex challenges of leading these soldiers while confronting deep-seated racism from within the Union Army itself. The film follows their journey as they seek to prove their courage and capability on the battlefield.
