Story
Luke Jackson arrives at a Florida prison farm after a minor conviction, determined to maintain his independence despite the harsh conditions and authoritarian system. The warden and guards enforce brutal discipline, while Dragline, the prison's most powerful inmate, initially sees Luke as a challenge. As Luke repeatedly refuses to conform—even enduring isolation in solitary confinement—he becomes an inspiration to fellow prisoners, earning their respect while becoming increasingly difficult for authorities to control.
